Arbor
What is Arbor?
All schools have a database that stores our information, and is called a MIS (Management Information System). The MIS we use is called Arbor.
What does Arbor store?
Arbor contains your child's:
- contact details
- parents and family members contact details
- medical details
- educational information, such as exam grades
- school timetable - what lessons they have, who with and when
- details of major assessments, such as the GCSE examinations
- school reports
- positive rewards
- negative incidents
Can I gain access?
You can gain access to this information by downloading the Arbor App onto your phone. There is an App for Apple and Android devices.
What can I do with the Arbor App?
The Arbor App is useful for monitoring your child at Arnewood. You can:
- Update your child's contact and medical details
- See you child's reports
- See when your child has earned rewards
- See when your child has been part of a negative incident
- See your child's school timetable (so you know when they have PE or food technology, for example)
Arbor is a system that is constantly developing to make it better! Therefore, for details on how to use the App we have provided you a link to their website as they will update when a new development is added.
