Reporting COVID symptoms or a positive test result

Guidance has changed, and now advises that children and young people who are unwell with COVID and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school, college or childcare when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.  There is no need to take an LFD test.

You need to click Submit at the bottom of the form to send us your answers.

Following a positive LFD test, children and young people should isolate for three full days. Following this, they can go back to school if they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend. There is no need to take another LFD test before returning. *
